• 12 month rolling forecasts
• Annual budgets
• Maintain and grow turnover and margins
• Update customers on market trends and innovative products to ensure Nampak is the preferred supplier
• Co-ordinate customer requirements to the plant’s capacity and liaise on a daily basis with customers on supply
• Co-ordinate between the plant and customer to resolve quality and technical issues
• Ensure that the launch of new products is successful

• Manage price increases, update customer pricing and ensure all orders reflect correct pricing
• Ensure internal sales personnel are placing orders on plant and order confirmation / delivery is being communicated
• Identify new markets, products for the business and control design changes
• Identify new customers and improve market share whilst maintaining existing business

• Ensure that the liquid and closure sales functions are aligned to the business unit’s strategic plan
• Feedback to the Senior Management on all market information regarding customer and competitors
• Managing and guiding the sales team in ensuring the business units goals are met

Job Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Commercial, Sales or Marketing.
• 6-8 years in a Sales position in a manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales management position in a FMCG environment
• 2 years’ experience in a FMCG manufacturing/ production environment will be an advantage
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Packages
• Business acumen
• Valid Drivers’ license
